Overview
The heritage of the impressive University of Glasgow building meant that some of the room shapes proved challenging to the Alpha team. Through an extensive consultation period with the project’s key stakeholders the team selected furniture styles and finishes that complimented and enhanced the historic building, whilst providing modern, functional furniture for staff and students.
A key consideration was the health and wellbeing of users, so ergonomic design was at the forefront throughout the project, from the boardroom and meeting areas to more relaxed dining and breakout zones.
