Genesis

Project Scope:

Genesis took the decision to move from the Westhill area on the outskirts of Aberdeen and into the City Centre to better support their business process and objectives. It was important for the client that their new workspace was in a first-class location committed to environmentally sustainable principles, with a key focus that the Genesis brand and values be omnipresent throughout the space, embedding these core beliefs within the workplace culture of the organisation.

It was vital for Genesis that the new working environment would engage their employees, with a considerable amount of the space designated to social, breakout areas to allow their people to come together, engage, and connect.

This fosters a collective spirit that will support employee engagement and wellbeing, providing Genesis with long-term benefits of a dedicated workforce committed to the organisations’ future success.

Furnishing Details:

Genesis opted for completely open plan floors completed with desking, task seating and much more in keeping with their aims to stimulate a collaborative atmosphere.

In keeping with the theme throughout, the open collaboration areas and coffee point zones provide plenty of areas for employees to socialise or switch up their working environment. A social and dining space was also included complete with café tables and chairs / soft seating sofas and latest AV equipment for large team engagements.

Quiet rooms and spaces such as enclosed meeting rooms to house larger meetings combined with multiple smaller meeting spaces for more personal 1-2-1s have also been integrated into the space. Genesis have provided something for everyone!
