Overview
The SHS Group has for over 40 years thrived in the fast-moving consumer goods sector. SHS own some of the most well-known brands in the UK & Ireland and you can find one of their much-loved brands in over 90% of households.
‘Alpha’ were approached by the SHS Team during the Covid Pandemic with the business foresight that they wanted to upgrade & refresh their workplace for the staff. The SHS management team aspired to bring their workforce ‘back to better’.
They acknowledged that as a business they needed to create an agile workspace that not only supported hybrid working but also creating a softer environment suitable for collaboration, team meetings & excellent staff welfare facilities.
Alpha remodelled a staff café on the top floor with stunning views over Belfast Lough. A huge emphasis was on staff facilities with the creation of a breakout games zone on the ground floor, supplied with a kitchenette, digital coffee machines, zip taps, table tennis table, football machine etc.
Alpha’s design team worked closely with the SHS Marketing Department to add colour, digital graphics & branding throughout the three floors. The Alpha Contracts Team remodelled the existing partitions and upgraded all the existing fluorescent lighting to energy efficient LED, complete with motion sensors.
The main reception was given a makeover with decoration, lighting & furniture.
